Funding communities,
one square at a time.
Lucky Squares Australia makes it easy for schools, clubs, charities and community groups to run simple, fun fundraisers online. No spreadsheets, no cash handling, no stress.
Lucky Squares Australia was born from watching a friend struggle.
When Jamie Stott's friend Stretch was manually running a Lucky Squares fundraiser for the L'Aces Women's Masters Baseball team, Jamie went looking for an online platform to make the process easier. When she discovered one didn't exist, she built it.
The goal was simple: make Lucky Squares effortless to run, reduce the administrative load on volunteer organisers, and give Australian communities a genuine alternative to donation-only platforms.
The result is Lucky Squares Australia -- and it's already making a difference.
“My favourite part of this journey so far are the warm fuzzy feelings I get knowing that something I built is helping make such an amazing difference in people's lives.”Jamie Stott, Founder
Live figures, updated in real time.
Jamie is a three-decade founder across ecommerce, mental health, and retail, with a track record of building things that solve real problems for real people.
Sport has been a constant thread. Jamie played Premier League hockey in her younger years before a series of niggling injuries led her to retire at 26. In 2023, following a period of significant personal challenge, she returned to sport to rebuild and found exactly what she was looking for. The physical fitness, the friendships, the sense of belonging that only a team can give you. It reminded her why community matters.
That experience sits close to the heart of Lucky Squares Australia.
Today Jamie is affiliated with Adelaide Hills Hockey Club and sits on the Hockey SA Umpires Panel. She has represented South Australia in Masters Hockey, scoring her first ever nationals goal at her Hockey Masters Nationals debut. She also won Gold at the Australian Masters Games in 2025 with Turf Queens.
In baseball, Jamie plays Div 1 for Glenelg Baseball Club in the SA Women's League, where she was named in the 2024 Team of the Year. She claimed Silver with Pitch Please at the 2023 Australian Masters Games and Gold in 2025. In 2026, she has been invited to play with L'Aces at the Pan Pacific Games in the Gold Coast.
In 2025 Jamie was awarded a scholarship to the Marjorie Jackson-Nelson Centre for Women's Sport, a groundbreaking leadership program for women in sport backed by Sport SA and the South Australian Government.
Away from sport, Jamie is the author of The Catcher with Heart, a children's book illustrated by Roger Haldane. It follows a young jackrabbit's journey from grassroots local baseball all the way to the professional league.
