For registered charities

Peer-to-peer fundraising infrastructure, built for scrutiny.

Give your supporters, branches, and volunteers their own fundraising campaigns under one appeal.

Funds are collected directly into your organisation’s own account, never held by us. Permit responsibility stays with your organisation as the promoter. Every draw is independently verifiable. Built to hold up to due diligence, not just to look good on launch day.

One appeal, run across your whole supporter base

Rather than one campaign carried by one staff member, your appeal can be spread across everyone willing to fundraise on your behalf.

Supporter-led appeals

Run one appeal where individual supporters, volunteers, or committee members each get their own grid to share with their own network, all rolling up to one event.

Branch and chapter campaigns

Give each branch or chapter its own grid under a single national or state appeal, with results visible across the whole organisation.

One-off or recurring appeals

Run a single grid for a specific appeal, or set up a recurring draw your regular supporter base can return to.

The questions we expect before you evaluate this further

These are the things a fundraising or finance team typically wants answered before recommending a platform to leadership.

Where do the funds actually go?

Card payments are collected through a Stripe Connect account created specifically for your organisation. Lucky Squares Australia never holds your funds. Once a draw completes, payout is triggered to your own nominated bank account, typically within 3 to 5 business days. Bank transfer and in-person payments go straight to your organisation as they come in.

Who is responsible for permits and gaming compliance?

Lucky Squares Australia operates as a facilitator, not the promoter of your fundraiser. Your organisation is the promoter and is responsible for meeting any state or territory permit requirements that apply to your campaign. Thresholds and requirements differ by state and by how you structure the raffle. See our full compliance guide before you launch.

What happens to our supporter data?

Contact details for everyone who registers as a fundraiser, and everyone who buys a square, are visible to your organisation through your reporting dashboard, name, email, and phone where provided. That data is yours to use for your own donor relationship management, it isn’t held back or monetised by us.

How is a draw verified as fair?

Every draw is conducted inside the platform using a verifiable random selection, and every winner’s notification includes a link to an official draw result certificate. Nothing is drawn manually or off-platform.

What does this cost, and is there a cut of funds raised?

No percentage is taken from what your supporters raise. Individual campaigns are a flat $19 fee. For an organisation running several appeals a year, the Organisation plan is a flat annual fee instead of paying per campaign, and it’s a prerequisite for running a Blitz-style, multi-participant event, which then carries its own event fee based on expected participant numbers.

Can more than one staff member manage our account?

Yes. The Organisation plan supports team access, so staff or volunteers can launch and manage campaigns on your organisation’s behalf without sharing a single login.

Is our organisation verified before we can fundraise?

Yes. We verify ABNs and keep organisation accounts to one per registered entity, so the platform stays accountable and can’t be duplicated or misused under your name.

Permit obligations are yours, and vary by state

Lucky Squares Australia facilitates the technology, ticketing, and draw. Your organisation, as the promoter, is responsible for confirming and meeting any permit or licensing requirements that apply in the states or territories where you sell. Thresholds differ significantly by jurisdiction and by how a raffle is structured.

From Grief to Giving Back: How DJ Helped Raise $14,200 for Cancer Council

DJ Apanui did not think he had the network to raise serious money. A 100 square grid at $50 added $4,000 to his $14,200 total for Cancer Council, and let people far beyond Port Macquarie take part.
