What is a 100 Club?
A 100 Club is a fundraising format where a group sells 100 numbered squares, then holds a draw. The holder of the winning number takes home a prize (usually half the funds raised) and the organiser keeps the rest as funds raised. The traditional version runs as an ongoing monthly membership scheme, but Lucky Squares keeps it simpler: one campaign, 100 squares, one draw. If you want to run it monthly, just create a new campaign each time.
Is Lucky Squares the same as a 100 Club?
Yes, with one key difference. Lucky Squares runs the 100 Club as a straightforward grid fundraiser: set up 100 squares, share the link, collect payments, and draw a winner. There are no recurring memberships, and no automatic renewals. It is the same community fundraising concept, made as simple as possible.
Do members need to create an account to join?
No. Members visit the link, pick their square, and pay. No app download, no account, no friction. They receive a confirmation email with their square number so they have proof of their entry.
Can we run a monthly 100 Club draw?
Absolutely. You can create a new campaign each month. Clubs that run regular monthly draws often switch to the Organisation plan, which gives unlimited live campaigns for a flat annual fee rather than paying per campaign.
How does the draw work?
When you are ready to draw, hit the draw button inside the app. Lucky Squares randomly selects the winning square/s from all paid entries, announces the result, and notifies the winner by email. The whole process takes about 30 seconds.
Can we sell more than 100 squares?
For a classic 100 Club format you would use the 100-square grid. If your campaign sells out fast and you want to raise more, you can always run a second campaign.
We are also looking at the feasibility of introducing a new feature that would allow successful campaigns to increase grid size while the campaign is running, but a release date has not yet been announced. Are 100 Club fundraisers legal in Australia?
